Tips for cooking bison meat

Bison will look redder than beef because it has lower fat content. (And more protein! Yes!) It will cook faster than beef.

Cook to at least 160 degrees, or cook to at least 145 degrees for medium rare steaks.

Get the grill hot and cook on high for 6 minutes a side.

Bison steaks are best if not cooked past medium. Remember, bison cooks faster than beef! We recommend about 6 minutes a side, just like the burgers.
